Clermont County Farm Women's Federation Meet Highlights Annual Day

About forty members gathered November st at the Williamsburg Presbyterian Church for the county federation’s all day meeting. Morning business and officer elections preceded a generous dinner and an afternoon program of music readings and recitations. State Federation President Mrs Bricker of Hicksville Ohio gave an excellent talk. Eppert Rites Held After Locust Corner Death at 87

Walter B Eppert died at his son W M Eppert's home near Locust Corner in his 88th year after long illness. Six sons and two daughters survived. Funeral conducted by Rev Griffith of West Union at Mt Pisgah Cemetery with Rev Burdsall assisting. A health notice defends state quarantine rules amid anonymous letters.

Ohio seeks 250000 for tubercular cattle slaughter

State Director of Agriculture Taber urged the Ohio Legislature to appropriate 250000 to compensate farmers for tubercular cattle slaughtered. He cited more than 55000 cattle tested during the year and 1050 herds totaling 17772 head, up from 489 herds and 8369 cattle on July 1, 1921.
