Columbus Ohio November 21 The State Highway Department adopts a four day week for its maintenance division to use $500000 in unspent funds for the remainder of 1930. Director Robert N Waid says 1500 more workers than usual are employed and many laid off men will return as funds permit. Road repairs will focus on urgent winter needs.

Highwaymen Captured After Robbing West Union Restaurant
Chas Sublett Thomas Bannigan and Edwin Thoma along with partner held up Brodt's restaurant at West Union on October 20 and robbed twenty customers. They were captured two weeks later and pled guilty to one count each. They were sentenced to 24 years and one month in the Ohio penitentiary and will be taken up on November 18.
