Milford youth fined for reckless driving after car collision
Nicholas Konrad 22 of 1846 Goshen Pike was fined 5 dollars and court costs 9.50 in Clermont County court at Batavia for reckless driving after his auto struck the parked car of Curlee Littlejohn on High Street. Konrad said he paid 100 damages and Littlejohn lent him the court costs to avoid jail.

Fire destroys five room home and damages bicycle shop
The five room home of George Butterfield in Edenton was leveled by fire on Wednesday, with $5,000 damage to the Hamlin Bicycle Shop on Main St Milford. Firemen from Goshen, Newtonsville and Blanchester fought the blaze, which began on the shingle roof and spread to two apartments above the shop forcing tenants Val Vogt and Mrs Spencer to evacuate.

Milford Sets Bid Deadline For Sewers Plant Station
Milford council set December 15 as the bid deadline for a sewerage treatment plant pumping station and interceptor sewers to qualify for 163,208 in federal aid. Project cost includes 400,000 plus bonds of 300,000 and 100,000 notes and a Riverside Park pumping site near the waterworks with the treatment plant behind Garfield trailer park.
