Tax Cut Decided For Next Year By Budget Commission
Clermont County budget commission members Ralph A. Hill Byron Ross and Earl Metger say no tax levy for TB care will be needed next year as the care fund will show a $96000 balance after this year’s bills. Tax savings amount to about 30 cents per $1000 of valuation for taxpayers. The commission will decide next year whether to levy the amount approved in 1960 for TB care, and other budget items include operation of a school for the retarded and a bond issue for a new school.
