Elizabeth Fagin 93 Dies Native Clermontonite
Elizabeth Jackson Fagin, 93, a native Clermont County resident, died last Monday at the home of Mrs. Albert Johnson in Madisonville. Funeral services were held Thursday at T. P. White funeral home in Mt. Washington, with burial in the Amelia I. O. O. F. Cemetery. Born near Mt. Pisgah, she was the daughter of Mary and Jacob Jackson who moved to Clermont in a covered wagon from Maryland. She attended Parker Academy in New Richmond and later taught school.

Ripley Tobacco Market Opens First Sale of 1935-36
The Ripley Tobacco Board of Trade announces the first sale of the 1935-36 season will be on Tuesday, December 3. All four Ripley houses will begin accepting tobacco on Monday, November 25, with forces ready to unload deliveries. New County Tobacco Contract Outlines Four Year Plan

Wreck Near Batavia Injures Ayers Recovering from Crash
Howard Ayers, Buick dealer, was returning from Cincinnati with injuries after a Saturday afternoon collision near Batavia. Ayers hit Mark Sentman’s car as he turned into the Hoyt Airey residence area, causing both cars to wreck. Ayers sustained a bruised head and back. Sentman was unhurt. Ayers’ car struck a tree.

Batavia High School teams coached by Franklin Morrison and Mr Herring will host Felicity in their first home games of the year Friday night at 7 30. Admission is 25 and 25 cents. Cincinnati Youth Shot While Hunting
Robert Frank, 19, of Central Fairmount Cincinnati, was shot in the arm while hunting near Bethel. He had climbed a tree to shoot rabbits when his gun discharged as he pulled it up, striking his elbow. He was taken to Bethesda Hospital and it was feared the arm might be lost.
