N R Financier Passes in New Richmond at 79
Hampshire Buckley 79 retired financier and textile promoter died at his New Richmond home last Wednesday afternoon after long heart trouble. Born in England he came to the U S as a youth worked in a Nova Scotia textile mill then settled in New Richmond. He led J H Glasgow Woolen Mill for 33 years and helped organize the New Richmond National Bank. Survived by son Niel Buckley. wife Kate Lindsey Buckley died 1920. Funeral held Friday. interment Greenmound Cemetery.
