LOCUST CORNER The Pierce township tax duplicate rose by 8.3 million to 44.3 million, according to state figures for Beckford Plant near New Richmond. Al White, president of the trustees, reported the increase from 36 million in 1959 and noted road maintenance equipment under construction and a new four ton pickup.
