A large audience attended the Union Armistice Day service at the U B church Sunday evening led by Revs Troxell Bonham and Abbott with the U B quartet providing music. Cecil of the Veterans Bureau spoke on Red Cross relief efforts while Mrs Chas Mussy county secretary read letters praising the work. A membership drive began, Clermont’s quota set at 3000, cards signed for pledges to Mrs Mussy. Pershing praised the Red Cross as essential in wartime and peace, noting its continued effort for veterans and service members.
