Fox Hunt Marked Four Day Meet in Clermont County
The Southern Ohio and Northern Kentucky Fox Hunters Association held a four day meet in Clermont County with Batavia as headquarters. Hunting started on Lou Buerkle’s farm east of Batavia with 26 dogs released and crowds watching a busy dog show at the Batavia armory. Judges awarded cups and ribbons for Derby Dogs, Derby Bitch, All-age Dogs and Bitches, Sweep Stakes, Best Pair Dogs, and Beagle Hounds. Officers included President Lee Miller and Secretary-Treasurer C. Myers.
