The Red Cross asks every eligible Clermont County resident to donate a pint of blood as a Christmas gift. Donors fill a pledge with name and address and mail it to the Clermont County Chapter, American Red Cross in Batavia. Free transportation will be provided and donors will be notified of trip times.

The Batavia community mourns the sudden death of Mrs. Ruby Oxley wife of Dr. F M Oxley at their Route 74 home. She had been in good health and had stayed overnight with a Batavia family.
