Bethel Youth Recovers At Home From Gunshot Knee Wound

Bethel Russell Fields 17 son of Noble and Mrs Fields of Sterling Road Rt. 1 is recovering at home from a knee wound after a 22 caliber pistol discharged in a holster while Russell, his brother Calvin 15 and James Baker 16 of Bethel Rt. 3 walked across a farm field to target shoot. He was treated by a physician and returned home.

Restored Schmidt House Draws DAR Visitors in Beech Forest

Averill Hauck announces the Schmidt House, restored by the Daughters of the American Revolution, has drawn visitors from many states this past summer. The Beech Forest Chapter DAR adds new furniture and rare antiques and invites all to visit, hosting this year by Mrs. Oscar Dumford Sr and others.

Three Hurt In Two Car Crash

Three persons were injured in a two car collision on Rt. 48 north of Loveland. George Zinn aged 78 of Foster suffered head cuts and possible internal injuries and was taken to Christ Hospital by life squad. Dora Zinn aged 76 received forehead lacerations and injuries to wrist and ankle. Walter Bunnell aged 21, driver of the second car, had head lacerations. State Highway Patrol said Zinn turned onto Loveland Foster Road and was struck by the Bunnell vehicle.

Ministerial Unit Formed In County

Clermont County forms the Clermont County Ministerial Association at Amelia Methodist Church. Officers are President Rev. Robert Lacker Bethel Baptist Church, Vice President Rev. Felicity Suspect Held On Robbery Count

Cincinnati Judge Daniel C Handley held LeRoy Elliott 26 of Felicity to the Hamilton County grand jury on a robbery charge. Bond set at $2,000. Elliott was captured Saturday after robbing the Bonded Oil Co service station on Eastern Ave of $18.39 at gunpoint per police.

Central Trust Officer to Speak at Batavia Club Meeting

Clermont County Voters Face Six School Levy Renewals

Six school levies appear on Clermont County ballots for November six renewals plus two district reorganization questions. Districts include Milford Exempted, Williamsville-Tabasco, Clermont Northeastern, Amelia, Felicity Franklin, Miamiville, and others. Vote margins range from 55 to 60 percent for passage or defeat, with several five year terms and specific millages or bonds noted.

County Pomona Grange To Meet

Newtonsville Clermont County Pomona Grange will meet here on Saturday November 3. A jitney supper begins at 6:30 p.m. Members bring their own service. Pomona Master Carl Bickel leads the business meeting. A display of toys forty years old and older is planned with a prize for best display. The lecture theme is Go West Grangers Go West.

Clermont County dairymen COBA members will gather November 8 at 8 p.m. in Bethel Tate Elementary School. Dr. Fordyce Ely of Ohio State University speaks on Raising Dairy Calves on the High Roughage System. Richard Kellogg will report on the Central Ohio Breeding Association. 4H members and technic ians to be recognized. directors elected from seven townships. refreshments and door prizes planned.
