Planning Commission reviews multiple zoning changes and subdivisions
The planning commission considered changes from R-2 to R-3 on a 20.55 acre site while noting 2600 acres already zoned R-3 nearby and the area's single family character. It approved Owensville Christian retirement village in Stonelick and a Pierce Township seven-lot subdivision, while rejecting a doctor’s office on St Rt 28. Additional actions included rezonings M-1 to B-5 for several parcels near St Rt 125, and approvals for Yorkshire Village 68 lots, Beechwood Knoll 47 lots, Wilderness Trails 48 lots, with Beechwood and other site plans advancing along Summerside and Cook roads.
