With a month remaining before entry close the Clermont County Convention and Visitors Bureau reports many applications for the Clermont Classic Triathlon and Open Water Swim set for July 20 at East Fork State Park. Brown, the race director, anticipates about 450 entrants from Ohio and nearby states. the one mile Harsha Lake swim is tougher than a pool while the 12 mile bike and four mile run include hills. Entry deadline is July 5 and inquiries go to Paul Schnurr at Clermont County Community Services.

County Caucus to meet June 5 in Batavia Ohio

ODOT awards road lighting contract to Smith-Wagner Co
