The Batavia Woman's Club closed its 1928-29 season with a meeting at Mrs. H. L. Nichols home. Guests from the Vesta Club of Williamsburg attended reciprocity day. Mrs. John Lytle spoke on geography, followed by a three act reading of Coquette by Ann Musselman. A social hour and garden tour concluded the gathering. The County Federation will meet in New Richmond on June 13, after which no meetings occur until October.

Memorial Services At U B Church Attended By Community Groups
Memorial services were held at the U B church with Rev Bonham in charge and Rev Abbott delivering the sermon. The opening prayer was by Rev Troxell and benediction by Rev Burdsall. Clerks fall from box injures shoulder at store
