Indications point to a revived Clermont County Health Department with four full time staff as federal and state health agencies tentatively approve a plan for the first year. The roster includes a full time health commissioner, a county health nurse, a sanitation officer and an office clerk. Funding totals over twenty four thousand dollars from federal, state, U S Public Health Service and county sources, with county support raised from township and village taxes. The plan follows a meetings attended by over 100 local officials and PTA representatives, and aims to begin operation July first pending formal approval.

Louise Harrison Lever of Loveland died at her home after a two week illness. She was active in the Loveland Methodist Church and the W C T U. She leaves six children including Major Clarence Leever of the Salvation Army Philadelphia and Professor Henry W Lever of Linfield College Oregon, with funeral at Loveland Methodist Church and burial in Miamiville cemetery.

County Sues to Recover State Relief Funds
Clermont County Commission files mandamus action with the State Supreme Court through Frank A. Roberts and Hugh C. Nichols to compel the State Relief Commission to pay $14,750.40 to the county treasury as its share of House Bill 627 relief funds. Tax Figures Announced on Delayed December Real Estate Tax
County Treasurer J. M. Fitzpatrick released complete figures showing $225,005.19 collected in real estate taxes from the delayed December collection, closed April 15. Delinquent write offs totaled $58,295.07, leaving $162,271.96 in delinquencies. delinquent collections were among the best in county history. Personal tax receipts totaled $24,395.08, down from about $31,000 in 1935, due to lower rates and a 1 percentage point cut in the tax on productive investments.
