Ohio Vocational Education Enrollment Reaches Record High
More than a million Ohioans enrolled in vocational education for jobs and skill development, an all time high reflecting economic conditions. 11th and 12th graders in programs hit 41.8 percent. A public meeting on improvement was set for April 21 at the Ramada Inn North Columbus. E W Kavanagh noted that over 350000 adults pursued vocational education during the period.

Area student wins Greek prize at Lawrence University
Sarah Warrington of Loveland received the Maurice P. Cunningham prize in Greek at Lawrence University Honors Convocation May 17. She will graduate with a BA in classics June 12 and is a 1979 Concord Academy graduate.
