Clermont County Eyes Federal Help for Jail and Office Wing

Clermont County seeks federal help through the Economic Development Act for a jail and an administrative office wing as top priority projects. State nuclear council possible in licensing

Governor Richard Celeste has told Zimmer Area Citizens and Cincinnati's Environmental Advisory Council he is considering a special governor's advisory council to deal with problems at the William H. Zimmer Nuclear Power Station. The Ohio Attorney General's office is studying the matter. The council would monitor management reviews and audits, develop cost-saving strategies, and pass information to the governor for public release with members including a health and education specialist and representatives from ZAC and the League of Women Voters.

Mustachioed senior to see ceremony
