Eight Felicity Graduates in Auto Accident

Eight Felicity High School graduates were injured in an automobile crash near Cincinnati after a late night pre graduation celebration at the Primrose Club. Driver Herbert Keller 17 reportedly fell asleep at the wheel. injuries range from bruises to skull fractures.

Ohio State Switches Back to Civilian Schedule

Clermont County students at Ohio State will gain a breathing spell as autumn quarter starts October 3 rather than September 12. Freshman Week runs September 27 to October 2, shifting from the former September 6 to 11 dates. Summer quarter dates remain unchanged.

Memorial Day Services Schedule in Batavia Area

Memorial Day program led by Reverend Vernon Martin with Batavia Band and town school band. Kyle Moyer leads a firing squad at Frank Shepard’s grave, last WWI veteran to die this year. Parades form at noon at the Armory and graveside decorations begin at 9 am with two detachments via north and south routes visiting several cemeteries. Olive Branch Ladies Aid meet at Ruth Violett’s home Thursday afternoon the 25th.
