Soldier’s Body Arrives For Burial In Bantam Area
The body of Henry Johns who died in France two years ago arrived Thursday morning escorted by an army officer and taken to his brother Will Johns at Bantam then to his parents’ home. A large Batavia Legion turnout attended Sundays Old Bethel church funeral with ritual by Batavia Legion led by Prof Jordan. the Batavia band played taps as the casket was interred.
