Batavia High School Eleventh Annual Commencement
The Batavia high school held its eleventh annual commencement at city hall on Thursday evening the 19th. Ten graduates, six young ladies and four gentlemen, were honored with essays and orations by John Jenike Lizzie McDonald Bertha Hannold Thomas Ashburn Grace Hambleton Nannie Moore Bessie Denham Bessie Cowen John Griffith. The program featured Rev. Schultz and Rev. J. Schwab, Bellstedt’s orchestra, and diplomas presented by Judge J. B. Swing.

The executive committee of the Clermont County Teachers Institute led by E. Q. Crane met in Loveland and concluded plans for the 1892 session to start Monday in Loveland. Eminent lecturers include John DeWitt Miller G W Williams and Prof Nelson with Eugene Dial as musical director and Miss Georgia Thompson as pianist.
