Frank J. Crance, a nine year veteran salesman at Hohnstedt & Windhorst on Main Street, Cincinnati, shoots his sweetheart Miss Hagedorn and then kills himself. The couple had a troubled romance and Crance had threatened violence after a quarrel over her contemptuous treatment. Crance died instantly. Miss Hagedorn, reputed to be of good character, survived no longer than the shooting before Crance’s fatal act.
