Goshen Boy Dies From Burns In Lighter Incident
Charles M. Oberlander 15 of Goshen died at Christ Hospital after clothing caught fire from a cigarette lighter during Goshen School noon recess. He stumbled while fleeing the flames, broke a bottle of lighter fluid, and sustained burns to the legs arms back and chest. Services were held at Monroe Funeral Home Milford with burial in Goshen Cemetery. He is survived by his parents and sister Patricia.
