Waffle House supports Sharma County playground program aid

A Milford restaurant event on May 15 kicks off the restaura ant’s drive to aid the county summer playground program. Eight percent of this week’s Waffle House sales through May 25 will be donated to the Sharma County Recreation Director Bob Fawley and Commissioner Robert J. The fundraiser aims for 500 to 600 dollars for the 16 playground sites. Comptroller Jim Fittro cites variable turnout as the factor. Commissioner Croswell notes the restaurant’s ongoing generosity to county recreation.
