Batavia Methodist WSCS sponsors a family covered dish dinner May 21 at 6 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. Rosanna Hoberg leads the program.
Glen Este High School senior Alice A. Ford earns a four year full tuition nursing scholarship. She will attend University of Cincinnati College of Arts and Sciences next September and later transfer to University of Maryland for a B S Nursing degree. Ford is active in NHS GAA bowling Thespian Society and chorus. Daughter of Mildred Ford of Milford.
Clermont County YWCA outlines summer activities for teens 13 and under, plus adults and elementary students. Teen Vacation runs June 6 to July with swimming weekly, crafts and trips.
