New Bridge Proposed for East Fork Area in County
County Engineer Carl H. Rush seeks half of 380000 to construct a new bridge over the East Fork of the Little Miami River 0.3 mile east of Route 133 on Jackson Pike. The project was added to the federal secondary road system, raising eligibility for federal aid. Rush aims to spare the county’s remaining covered bridge by a new alignment from Route 133 and placing the span below the old structure.
