Milford educator granted leave to teach in Navy
Word reached this week that M. H. Burkholder former Milford school superintendent now London Ohio school superintendent was granted a leave of absence for the duration to enter the service. He received a commission as Lieutenant senior grade in the United States Naval Reserves and reported for duty in New York City on May 10. He will be an instructor in the Naval College Training program and will be stationed temporarily at Columbia University where he graduated in 1934.

PUPILS RAISE FOOD FOR VICTORY
