J M Davidson a prominent county teacher wed Miss Carrie Knauer of Williamsburg on May 5 1887 at the bride’s uncle Frank Pohls home. Rev Roben of Williamsburg Presbyterian Church officiated. The couple hosted a serenade and a grand supper. a large reception followed at the bridegrooms home.

Old Folks Picnic at Williamsburg June 10

The Cincinnati Pioneers Grand Picnic will be held at Batavia June 10 with W R Walker and John W Kain as Batavia organizers and W Dennis supervising in Cincinnati. Three foot races compete for silver cups and pitchers. a silver pitcher is awarded per race.
