Damage from Two Fires Creates Major Property Loss

Patrolman Injured In Collision With Batavia Driver
Patrolman John Mc Elhaney, 28, was injured when his motorcycle struck Hall M. Smith, 24, as the Batavia driver turned from Beechmont Levee toward Lunken Airport. Mc Elhaney suffered serious mouth and knee injuries with possible head trauma and Smith was cited for reckless driving.

Thieves Suspected In Country Home Fire Near Milford

New Richmond Girl Struck by Car In Street Crossing
A four year old New Richmond girl was struck by a car while crossing Front Street with her mother. Donna Sue Colonel, daughter of Mr and Mrs Kenneth Colonel, was not badly hurt but had to be driven six miles to Dr Victor Speerling in Ameélég for treatment. The car was driven by Mrs James Warde h.
