Batavia High School crowned Bill An krom and Ruth Bissaitz as King and Queen of the Junior Prom, held in the decorated school gym. Charlie Kehrer and his orchestra provided music. The preceding Junior-Senior banquet drew 27 seniors and 34 juniors. Decorations used dyed tobacco cloth forming a sky blue canopy with stars.

The Clermont County Commissioners passed a resolution to back law enforcement and the public in enforcing the county wide dog quarantine.
