Two Clermont County men received the Oil Industry Information Committee award of the American Petroleum Institute for distinguished leadership and accomplishments in public relations. The citation honors their work promoting the industry and its services.
The program lists James Warden of Fleet Wing Corp New Richmond and Paul R Lewis of Lewis Distributing Co Batavia as award recipients.
Milford high school won a track meet with 52 points, Goshen 48, Batavia 22. Event winners included Chause and Smart for Milford in sprints and distance events, Fox and Con ley for Goshen in distance, and Wilson of Batavia as the lone double winner. In a separate incident, John Fronsoe, 19, injured his foot at a farm processing machine and was hospitalized.
