Wonderland Park in Clermont County opens for the season on May 4 with new attractions including Sooty Mangueby Capuchin Patas and Ringtail African green monkeys a midget Montjac deer and eight rides plus a new concession building. Moscow Receives County Inspection for New Buildings

Special Election May Set Millage For New District
West Clermont Board of Education may hold a special election to set a uniform operating millage for the newly formed district comprising Williamsburg Amelia and Mt Carmel Glen Este. A budget estimate will guide the millage level and space may allow all five year olds to attend kindergarten with transportation. A $12.50 semester supply fee may be charged to each student.

Firemen Sue Heating Firm Over Explosion Damage
The North Union Township Volunteer Fire Department and Mutual Fire Insurance Co. sue William D. Auxier of Auxier Gas in Clermont County Common Pleas Court for 19000 after an December 18 explosion at the Sum merside fire house damaged walls and doors. New Case Worker Appointed in County Welfare Agency

Planning Commission seat in Clermont County delayed
The naming of an eight member Clermont County Planning Commission has been postponed to next week to allow more residents and groups to propose candidates. Since the idea emerged thirteen names have been offered for membership as the panel would advise on roads, highways, water and sewer systems and recreation plots. The board also approved plats for two subdivisions: McArthur Block B in Batavia Township owned by Harold Zeller and Valley View Heights in Union Township owned by Harry L. Brinkman.
