Beautification and Boys State Activities Highlight Milford Students
Day Heights Garden Club donated trees to Pleasant Hill School sixth graders in Milford C. Nancy Ward and Mark James, members of the class, helped with a classroom beautification project. Mike Perry, grandson of the Perry family, was chosen as a delegate to the 1969 Buckeye Boys State sponsored by Batavia Post 237. Roy Polley, son of William and Mrs. Polley, was named Boys State alternate. The program runs June 12 to 20 at Ohio University and aims to teach local and state government workings.
