Milford voters rejected an 8-mill levy after a district-wide tally of 1760 to 1213. Most precincts opposed the levy, with only a handful supporting earmarked funds for teachers. A separate Blanchester district levy passed 40 to 38 in Clermont County.

Two court awards set compensation for land needed for the Circle Freeway in Union Township. Arthur B. School Bus Hit By Truck Injures Nine Near Felicity
Nine people were injured when a pickup hit a Felicity Franklin school bus at SR 222. The bus struck a utility pole after being struck on its side by the truck driven by Omer A. Meyer.
