Dredge delays irk Ohio senator over Stonelick Lake work

County arrests on broad drug trafficking indictments

Ten people were arrested and arraigned on drug charges from secret indictments approved by a special grand jury March 23. Among those charged are Leo C. Nordquist, Charles Meyer, Kelly Purdy, Kenneth Stover, Tracey Doyle, and others with trafficking in drugs and related complicity. Proceedings were to continue in Judge John L. Watson's court.

Batavia woman writes Easter drama The Decision

Batavia religious playwright Freda Osbourne, who has penned 15 religious plays in 19 years, presents The Decision at Williamsburg Pentecostal Church. The Easter drama features two main characters and dream sequences shot at Seven Caves and East Fork State Park. Cast includes John Hicks and Connie Costello with costumes by cast. production costs around 150 dollars funded by bake sales and donations.
