Bethesda seeks $3 million revenue bonds for Eastgate medical center

Bethesda Care Inc seeks industrial development revenue bonds of 3 million from Clermont County Improvement Corporation to fund a medical office building, pharmacy, and urgent care near Eastgate Mall. CIC to review April 8, with county commissioners to decide. Project creates 46 new jobs and 739000 annual payroll, leasing space to 26 physicians.

High-tech help for 20 trainees in CETA program

Clermont/Warren Consortium plans remedial language and mathematics classes for 20 participants under a $22,260 contract with Clermont College. The program runs 650 hours over 26 weeks at Executive Center East starting April 11, funded by the federal Department of Labor from a $2.8 million block grant for fiscal 1983.

Family YMCA may not become reality in Clermont

The Clermont County family YMCA project hinges on a $750,000 offer from the Crosley Foundation. The YMCA board must raise $275,000 to match the grant, with a May deadline looming. Local Cincinnati groups have already committed $368,000 of the $475,000 match, as BancOhio leads fundraising to provide youths with year round activities and reduce juvenile problems.
