Twelve Teams Enter Clermont County Baseball League
Twelve teams are entered in the Clermont County Baseball League with a season opener set for Sunday April 30 secretary treasurer Stanley Anstaett said. Teams will play a single round robin for the first half then an elimination phase of three defeats and out will follow.

Auto Collision Injures Two At Perintown Route 50
Two people hurt when a rear end crash on Route 50 at Perintown sparked a fire. Cornell Baird 25 of Perintown was treated at Our Lady of Mercy Hospital for a nose fracture and knee injuries. Nellie Roflow 12 and her father Chris Roflow 59 were taken to Children's Hospital and home later. Mr Roflow’s car burned. Police say the family was ejected moments before the vehicle ignited.

Raymond D. Watts, 25 year old World War II Army veteran of Loveland Ohio, was appointed by Congressman James G. Polk to his Washington office staff. Watts served 31 months in the 97th Infantry Division in Germany and helped occupy Japan after V J Day.
