Robbers Confess in Salt Air Merchant Robbery
Fred Woods of Norwood Robert Johnson of Bethel and Kermet Boothty of Mederia confess to stealing about 60 dollars of goods from W. F. Fee the blind Salt Air merchant. Woods and Boothty admit guilt while Johnson says he drove the car. They are jailed in Batavia after Linn Black and the Indian Hill Rangers captured them and handed them to Sheriff Roberts.

Bethel Citizen Thomas W. Fisher dies after long illness
Thomas W. Fisher of Bethel died Tuesday night at his South Main Street home after a nearly three year illness. He was 59, born in Wiggonsville, and a Bethel High School graduate. Fisher was active in politics, serving on the Clermont County Election Board and County Central Republican Committee, and spent years running a Bethel grocery. Funeral services were held Friday at Kennedy Funeral Home with burial in Bethel Cemetery. He leaves a widow and a brother, Gatch Fisher.
