Death of Esteemed Citizen Near Olive Branch
A highly respected resident died at his son General M J W Holter’s home near Olive Branch at 4 30 PM Monday. Born August 14 1804 in Frederick County Maryland he moved to the county in 1816 and lived there thereafter. He married Rachel Ann Phillips November 17 1831 and fathered ten children, six living. Four sons served in the Union during the war, two did not. His wife died in 1888 and he had health declines since. Funeral at Olive Branch M E Church at two this afternoon.

Death of a Nonagenarian Granny Price Buried
Mrs. Elizabeth Price aged ninety three known as granny Price was laid to rest in Camp Dennison cemetery last Wednesday. Born in Pennsylvania she came to Ohio in 1806 at age two and married in 1800. In 1811 she moved from Milford to a home near Banks and remained there. She was an active member of the church for ten years and lived to an advanced age. Funeral services were conducted by Mr. Weaver.
