Boy Burned by Home Blast Leaves Boy Injured in Accident

Cadiz Man Fatally Crushed By Falling Tree Monday

A 62 year old Cadiz resident, Oakley Hennis, was killed when a gust toppled an elm being felled by Davey Tree Surgery crew clearing a power line right of way on Glen Este Road. His son George and foreman Leo Thompson were injured, with George suffering multiple fractures and possible back injury. Emergency responders treated victims.
