Batavia High School completed its season with a loss to the Covington Crescents, the intermediate champions of greater Cincinnati, at the armory Saturday night. The game was fast and clean. Golden Anniversary for East Milford Couple
George W. Armstrong and wife, both in their seventies, celebrated thirtieth golden wedding last Tuesday in East Milford. Nine children hosted them at the old homestead with an elaborate spread. Each child gave five dollars in gold. Seven great grandchildren attended. Armstrong served in the Civil War and still rises at 4 AM to tend his garden around the home.
