Amelia Consolidated School Buys 14 Acre Site For New Building
The Amelia Consolidated School Board purchased 14 acres near the present site for a modern school building to be located by the Grant Highway. The adjoining dwelling and store room will be removed and the land will accommodate athletics. Work will begin soon. Meanwhile 16 pupils at Bata via school took a broad high school senior test covering math history English science and social science. Six top scorers earned honors: Douglas Ellson first Milford. Russell Althaus second Bethel. William C Roudebush third Milford. Elizabeth Davidson fourth Bethel. John Gramer fifth Moscow. Marabeth Mattox Amelia. Wm H Bureau Moscow tied for sixth.

Four Confess in Chick Theft Case in Batavia

Oldest resident record noted in Osgood Indiana obituary
Benjamin Cuneo died March 9 1931 at Osgood Indiana aged 113 years he was the oldest record holder there. He was not born in Ohio and never lived in Clermont County but lived in Cincinnati at age 12 before moving from Italy. His son John resides near the fairground in Stone Lick Township.
