Locations recorded include Goshen 521 Milford 888 Owensville 354 Williamsburg 278 Batavia 395 Amelia 655 New Richmond 528 Felicity 360 Bethel 816. About 120 Bethel X Rays came from Williamsburg due to a closed Williamsburg school during the visit. Owensville student Carol Francis 13 will compete in WCPO spelling bee on March 24. she placed second last year.

Ohio delinquent taxes fell to the lowest level in over 25 years across 88 counties. Clermont County reports $119,966.38 in delinquent real estate taxes and $41,190.88 in delinquent personal taxes. State Auditor Rhodes noted a total write off of $3,275,533 as the tax backlog shrank last year.

The total personal property tax collected at Ohio’s 88 courthouses last year reached 546,704,453.80 dollars, surpassing 1954 by about 44 million. Clermont County Independent Baseball League Holds Opening Meeting
The Clermont County Independent Baseball League met at Batavia courthouse Friday evening with about 30 members from six teams. Officers were reelected, and Fred Hoht was named vice president. Revenue service seizes 12 acres in Miami Township
Robert J. Maurer of the IRS announced seizure of 12 acres in Miami township owned by Allison Bishopric Jr of Greenwich Connecticut. The revenue department says Bishopric owes the government 83 435 in income taxes. Glen Holman of Holman Buick Batavia underwent emergency surgery at Christ Hospital Monday night and is reported in favorable condition.

Voters OK $158,000 School Bond Issue in Goshen
