Postal Plan Prompts Township Route 74 Unity
R A Van Lieu proposes by design to consolidate rural routes in Union Township with Mt Washington Station to serve most areas. The plan aims to speed city to outlying mail but may slow Batavia and Amelia origins and could shift pick up times. Civic groups formed a joint committee to press for a single township post office and possible Cincinnati branch setup. Residents seek details and may petition against changes while surveys show support for centralizing service.
