Newly Elected Officers Lead Farm Bureau Groups

Newly elected officers of the Farm Bureau Legislature and Women's Committee include Harley A. Steward Newtonsville secretary and George Rouster Goshen vice chairman of the Legislative Committee. Mrs. George Rouster Milford and Mrs. Raymond R. Riehle Milford chair the Women's Committee. Dick Getz Farm Bureau district director said the committees will assist the Board of Trustees on Farm Bureau programs. The Legislative Committee will review bills in the Ohio Legislature and the Women’s Committee will handle safety and focal projects. Ray W. Ferree Goshen serves on the committee.

Felicity Students Shine In Music Contest Opens

Felicity Schools praise upbeat music program led by Giovanni Baiclli as students win Superior and Excellent ratings at University of Cincinnati Junior Contest and Miami University Senior Solo and Ensemble events. Ensembles and individual performers including Brenda Williams Nancy Marriott Teresa Disher Ann Edelen Lewis Ware and others posted top marks. Danner announced the strong showing and expressed pride in the results.

Two County Girls in Sophomore Revue At Mount St Joseph

Community Chest Plans 47th Annual Meeting in Cincinnati

The forty seventh annual Community Chest and Council gathering will occur Monday March 25 at the Sheraton Gibson Roof Garden. Water Main Break Cuts Public Service

A 12 inch water main broke near Locust Corner and White Oak Rds cutting service to the Pierce Union Batavia system for hours. West Clermont students were dismissed around 10 am as workers repaired the line, a five hour fix.

Longer School Hours Planned for West Clermont District

The West Clermont board announced extended hours across most grades. Senior high adds one full period. start up to 7:30 AM and end at 2:48 PM, Amelia and Glen Este junior highs begin at 9:30 AM and end at 4:00 PM, elementary schools gain half an hour except first and second grades stay half-day.
