A plant update states gas holders are no longer needed as service is now provided by an underground cavern. The change affects the facility in front of the partial area and indicates updated infrastructure.
Tony Carrier, 12, drowned Saturday at the Hamilton County Anglers Club pond off Tealtown Road while trying to recover a float. He lived with his grandparents at 1291 Baldwin Road and had gone fishing with Michael Malone, 11, and Stanley Malone, 12, who are sons of Larry and unknown Malone.
Robert A. Fischer son of Carl A. Fischer returns to the United States from the American Embassy in Saigon where he served since November 1962. His wife Marcell and children Timothy and Rebecca joined him after a prior return of other American families. He will study in Washington DC for five weeks before moving his family to Caracas for another embassy tour. Additional notices describe a funeral in Stanford and a Goshen fire charity appeal noting a family of five lost their home in a $13 000 blaze caused by a gas range explosion.

Clermont County Community Action Committee seeks $1000 capital to incorporate, operate, and travel to Washington for meetings with Office of Economic Opportunity leaders. Donald Sheehan says local support will depoliticize the poverty program while funding vocational training, pre k classes, dental care, and a full time social worker.
Taxpayers receive an extension from March 31 to April 15 for paying the first half 1964 real estate taxes. The change came at the request of Treasurer Byron Ross and was approved by the Division of County Affairs of the Ohio Department of Taxation.
The County Board of Education turned down a plan to divide West Clermont School District with opposition from leaders including Helen Hardy. The vote cited insufficient evidence to form a new district in the Mt Carmel Glen Este area despite past levy defeats.
Fred L. Corey of Milford 33 Meadow View Dr has been named vice chairman of the 1965 Clermont County Cancer Crusade to be held in April. Crusade Chair man Charles P. Woods II notes Corey was Milford-Miami Township Crusade chairman last year and aims to help fund research for a cure. The campaign distributes information and solicits contributions, with most funds sent to the American Cancer Society for research support.
Cliff White, a Batavia autodealer, went to Deaconess Hospital for an examination on Friday and expects to be discharged this weekend.

They plan to discuss with the Athens health meeting about highway alignment between Ohio 125 and U S 52 with access from Ohio 132 and 133. Aloysius J. Pleimann, 64, of Batavia, was fatally injured when his half-ton pickup ran off Rt. 182 south of Batavia at 12 45 a.m. The truck swerved off the road, then left of center before the crash. State troopers reported Pleimann was driving north when the mishap occurred.
Four Batavia area women Mrs. H. F. Buerkle Mrs. Escal A. Chaffin Mrs. Garnett Cann and Mrs. Henry Heckle volunteer for Red Cross. Buerkle aids social welfare for families of service men while Chaffin and Cann arrange transportation for clinic patients. Heckle brings comfort to hospital and institutional patients.
Amelia Jr. and Sr. High School PTA hosts a pancake supper on Tuesday March 23 to raise funds for the scholarship program. Serving starts at 6 p.m. in the high school cafetorium followed by a 3 p.m. PTA meeting with faculty introductions and job training details.

Lebanon PCA announces a 4 percent cash dividend for Class A stockholders on the record date October 31, 1964. Urban notes this marks the sixth consecutive year such a cash dividend has been paid to Class A holders.
