Boy Drowns Near Anglers Club Pond in Tealtown Area

Tony Carrier, 12, drowned Saturday at the Hamilton County Anglers Club pond off Tealtown Road while trying to recover a float. He lived with his grandparents at 1291 Baldwin Road and had gone fishing with Michael Malone, 11, and Stanley Malone, 12, who are sons of Larry and unknown Malone.

Fischer Returns From Viet Nam Embassy Duty To Caracas

Robert A. Fischer son of Carl A. Fischer returns to the United States from the American Embassy in Saigon where he served since November 1962. His wife Marcell and children Timothy and Rebecca joined him after a prior return of other American families. He will study in Washington DC for five weeks before moving his family to Caracas for another embassy tour. Batavia Contractor Dies In Truck Mishap

Aloysius J. Pleimann, 64, of Batavia, was fatally injured when his half-ton pickup ran off Rt. 182 south of Batavia at 12 45 a.m. The truck swerved off the road, then left of center before the crash. State troopers reported Pleimann was driving north when the mishap occurred.
