Jerome Wiesenhahn 48 of 1117 Ferris Road is named Union Township trustee by Clermont County Probate Court Judge Larry Carlier to replace the late Rocco Spinelli. A pharmacist and former county commissioner, Wiesenhahn expects to run for the post in the fall and will seek accord with Democrat Catherine Wuerdeman and Republican Jerry McBride. He was born in Amelia, attended Purcell High School and the University of Cincinnati.

Teen joyride ends in court after high speed chase
Two youths aged 13 and 14 from the Erlanger-Elsmere area allegedly borrowed a parent’s car, led deputies from Hamilton County and Ohio State Patrol on a 100 mph pursuit across I-275 into Clermont County, ending with a crash on I-275 Ohio 32. The 14 year old was hospitalized. the 13 year old was returned to Northern Kentucky. Charges pending.
