Abduction and Robbery Arrest Ties Newport Man to Ohio Case

Clermont County detectives arrested 23 year old Brian Blanch in Newport for the Feb 19 abduction and robbery of Joan Stacy at the Stan dard Oil Station on Ohio 125 Amelia. He allegedly forced Stacy from her car, drove several miles, took $9,000 in cash and checks, then fled handcuffed. His father, Donald Blanch, 46, was later charged with complicity to robbery.
