17 Fatal Accidents in Clermont County in Past Year
The Health Department annual report for 1945 records 17 fatal accidents in Clermont County. Drowning caused five deaths, auto and train wrecks four, farm machinery three, with one each from poison, accidental shooting, suffocation, burning, and a fatal fall. The Advisory Council met at Batavia to elect officers Louis M. Kleine president, Richard Holden vice president, Harry Clark secretary, and E. H. Marsh of Newtonsville named to the county Board of Health.

Three Injured in Route 132 Auto Wreck Near Felicity
A 1935 Ford crashed into a tree on Route 132 near Felicity around 3 p.m. Tuesday injuring Gus Walters of Neville and two Neville residents Dewey Singer and Anna Knight. They were taken to Good Samaritan in Broadwell Ambulance. Officials say alcohol was involved.

Bond Issue Proposed In Three Clermont Districts
Clermont County voters will decide on three bond issues in the May primary to fund school improvements in New Richmond Amelia and Felicity totaling about 200000. Resolutions were approved at a Batavia meeting of the school boards with specific costs: Amelia 85000 New Richmond 47000 Felicity 60000. A 65 percent approval in each district is required, Forest Ely named special attorney to assist. The proposals will be filed with the Board of Elections to prepare ballots.

He farms fourteen hundred apple trees across twenty six acres and raises hogs as a sideline tied to orchard work.
