Milford Fire Crew Responds to TV Set Blaze
Milford Ohio assistant chief Arthur Taylor led the department to 79 Mound Avenue where a television set started a fire causing smoke damage and about $500 in losses at Harry G Edwards home. Two Sunday calls followed, a grass fire at Route 2g and Oakland Road and a car fire at Robert Landeman’s Forest Avenue home, both quickly controlled with minimal damage.

Loveland Man Admits Slaying Infant Stepson
Fred Lee Cromer Jr admitted the slaying of his infant stepson in Loveland Ohio saying the baby’s crying irritated him. He allegedly yanked the child from a highchair struck its head on the floor and threw the child at a bed before police. A manslaughter charge was filed. He had moved from Reading six months ago.
