Two Sons Missing Since February First Near Batavia
Harold Davis age 17 and Norman Davis age 15 have been missing from their home near Batavia since February 1. Officers broadcast descriptions over Cincinnati and Cleveland radio stations with no results. The boys, fans of farm work, may be somewhere Clermont County. Harold is 5'5" 125 lbs with brown hair and blue eyes. Norman is 5'7" 105 lbs with brown hair. They wore work clothes at last sight. Any information is welcomed by their parents.

Louis Shinkle, 15, of Afton, was injured Saturday afternoon at Stone Lick while cutting logs when a falling log struck him. The Batavia High School sophomore, already nicknamed UnLucky Louise after a near severed foot accident, faced serious injuries with his return to study uncertain.

Gas truck crashes near Amelia injuring driver
A Standard Oil gasoline truck overturned in a ditch about a half mile west of Amelia Tuesday morning. Nearly 500 gallons of fuel were spilled before the driver escaped with only slight injuries. A similar crash occurred about six months ago across the road.
